About Us:
We've been dating 3 1/2 years by the time he proposed. We both graduated college this year, 2009. He's a respiratory therapist and I'm an Health Administration grad working at the local VA Medical Center. We are best friends first, and have a great sense of humor for life.

Our engagement story:
It was on Christmas Eve 2009, he drove from out of state and planned a wonderful evening. We went to go see the Christmas lights near by, and he asked that we each exchange our Christmas Eve gift at the park where the Christmas lights were. So after we drove around and saw all the lights, we got out of the car and walked onto this deck overlooking a lake. there were lights all around us on the dock, absolutely beautiful. He asked that I open my gift first, so I did. I opened a box to find a Build-A-Bear wearing a wedding dress, with the ring in the bouquet. He instantly got down on one knee, and starting to express his love for me. And ending with the phrase, "Will you marry me?" His eyes teared him, as he placed the ring on my finger. I couldn't speak, so I nodded yes.
 
Our wedding vision:

We want a beach wedding, but no venue or location has been decided yet.
