| Ryan and I went on a 6 hour train trip to Chicago, IL. We stayed at an absolutely lovely hotel right on Lakeshore Dr. The first evening we were there, we explored the hotel and found a lounging area that was outside on the 17th floor overlooking Lake Michigan and the Navy Pier in all it's lit up beauty! Ryan was really nervous, I could tell, although I had NO IDEA why. He was pacing around, sitting, standing, kneeling, it seemed as if he didn't know what to do. And then all of a sudden, he handed me a card. I opened it and read all of the words that he wrote of eternal love, gratefulness, and happiness. I almost teared up, but didn't have time, because before I could do or say anything, he was down on one knee, with a plastic pink ring (he is going to college full time for another year, and has no money), and the words flowed right out of his mouth as all of his nervousness flew right over the balcony...... Will you marry me? YES! I said OF COURSE!!! And here we are... planning and preparing, before we get married, move in together and share the rest of our lives with each other!! It can't come soon enough, but we sure are enjoying the build up! |
Our vision for our wedding is simple, sweet, fun, beautiful and memorable for everyone! Thank you for contacting me! This was fun to recall and relive those engaging moments all over again!
