Our engagement story:
I was at home and he called and said he wanted to take me out for dinner. I was excited since he told me he had made reservations and such special treatment what girl would turn that down? So i waited for what seemed forever for him to come pick me up. He took me to a fancy restaurant in the heart of downtown. I teased him the whole time he was up to something, Of course he denied it. Well dinner went well and we paid and were headed for the door. I looked up and there was a horse and carriage waiting in front of the building. I commented on how pretty the horse was and headed off in the direction of the car. He then told me to climb into the carriage it was for me. I was of course flattered! We rode through downtown for a while and watched the traffic and people. Just as the sun started to set, i noticed him sliding down on his knee with a ring in his hand. That's when he asked me to be his wife. It was a total surprise to me, and I gladly accepted!
