| Our engagement story: | |
Robert and I have been together for a little over a year. We recently took a vacation to Hawaii with Robert's family. I had never been to Hawaii and it was so beautiful. I kind of had a feeling that this was where he was going to ask me to marry him, I just had no idea how he was going to do it. Well, we went to a luau held be the hotel we were staying at where 1,000 people attended. The Hawaiian dancers decided to bring a few people up from the audience to dance in front of the crowd. Well, Robert happened to be one of them. To make it fun they decided to single someone out and that someone happened to be Robert! They took him backstage and dressed him up in a straw skirt and lei. He comes out and they make him dance solo with the hawaiian girl. As the music dies down Robert asks the host to bring Deborah (me) up on stage. Oh my, I'm thinking how many Mai Tai's has he drank and is he really going to do it here in front of a thousand people? I get up on stage and I'm shaking. The host gives Robert the mic because he obviously has something to say... ha ha. So he looks at me and says, "Sweetheart I wanted to bring you to a beautiful island because you are beautiful. We have been through a lot this past year, but I love you and want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?" He gets down on one knee and of course I am ecstatic and I say YES! The Hawaiian dancers dance around us and it was just us... no one else in the world but us. |

I want a traditional church wedding with friends and family. I want an intimate moment with true meanings. My theme is a black and white wedding with red accents. I have not chosen the venue yet. We are working on that now. Check back in July for wedding details and pictures. |
