Where Brides Go® Featured Engagements About Us: We are an older couple we have been engaged for going on 3 years and he wanted to pick a date after we bought a house for us to live in. He is a shuttle driver for Town and Country and I am a full time student at Trinidad State Jr College studying to be certified in addictions counseling. We have been together for going on 6 years and have been friends for 11 years we are still best friends and I wouldn't have it any other way. Our engagement story: We had been together for sometime we had been friends forever and we went to spend the weekend together in Pueblo when we both got our taxes and we made a trip to the mall we were just going to look for shoes, they have vendors selling things for Valentines day it was close to it was Feb., 2, 2008. He brought me some hand carved wooden roses and a I love you balloon and we went into JC Penney's. We were just looking at jewelry and he said I like this ring. When I turned to look, it was an engagement ring and he kissed me and looked into my eyes and whispered marry me. Of course I said yes. |
