About Us:
I work in clinical research for cancer and Chris works for an engineering company. We both love live music, baseball (I am the Astros biggest fan!), and having our Starbucks coffee every morning! We both have 2 children from previous marriages so a lot of our time is spent hanging out with our children, watching their sports events and I coach my daughter's cheerleading team. In our spare time, we like to cuddle up on the couch and watch movies.

Chris picked me up from work and we were on our way home. Driving down the road, he busted out with "Sharon, will you marry me?" I said "of course", thinking to myself that this conversation had happened before and how many times was I going to have to reassure him that I indeed want to marry him! Before I knew it, he handed me a ring box and said "here then!" I couldn't believe that he was actually seriously proposing in the car. I said "Get out of here! Are you seriously asking me to marry you while we are driving down the road?" He said he was serious and to open the box and look at the ring! He told me that if I wanted him to get down on one knee and propose when we got home he would...he had already ruined all that, so I told him don't worry about it!! The rest is history I guess! Chris is the kind of guy that could never plan an intimate dinner setting to propose anyways...he is way to excitable!!! He can't really keep a secret! We will be married on Oct 3, 2009 and I can't wait to be Mrs. Bradshaw!!!

We have booked a room at at hotel to have the ceremony and reception all in one place. The room is gorgeous with a water fountain and a glass roof so that you can see lights at night. The room has a bit of a tropical feel and so I want to use brown and orange as my colors (which are fall colors anyway!) We want music and drinking and dancing all night long!! We just want to have a really great time with all of our closest friends and family. We are both very laid back so we don't want any stress. Elegant, but relaxed is my goal!
