Where Brides Go® Featured Engagements About Us: I am a nurse and he is a paramedic. we love fishing, sitting my the fire on cold nights, and taking rides to the river with our two dogs in the kubota. Our engagement story: We went on a cruise in at the beggining of October, our first real vacation together. Two nights on the cruise there were "formal nights" where we got to get all dressed up for an elegant night with the captain and there were several backdrops outside of the dining room to have pictures made. We had our pictures made in front of the titanic staircase background. After all the pictures were taken and the photographer said we were finished, my fiance said "wait, there is one one more picture i want to get." He got down on one knee in front of the titanic staircase and proposed to me. I put my hand over my mouth in total shock and the photographer got the picture. It is a fantastic picture and as soon as we came home, I had it framed, and it will be sitting in front of our guest book at the wedding. What perfect timing!! |
